Star Rating: This modern apartment building is located in the west end of Edinburgh’s old town, within 500 metres of the medieval castle, the Royal Mile, and the shops on Princes Street. The Knight Residence has 29 one- and two-bedroom apartments spread over six floors. All have bright, modern decor in rust, green or blue colour schemes with original artworks on the walls. The lounge areas include sofas and armchairs, dining areas, plasma-screen TVs with satellite channels, and VCR/DVD players. Fully-equipped kitchens come with breakfast packs on arrival, while tea and coffee are replenished daily. Tiled bathrooms have mosaic floors, shower/tub combinations, heated towel rails and mirrors, and Arran Aromatics toiletries.
